Bringing your own food?

If you are not on the Meal Plan and are planning on bringing your own food for the weekend please be prepared to be self-sufficient in regard to cooking and food storage. Although there are fire-pits onsite, we are reserving these spaces for classrooms and socializing and ask that you do not prepare food in these spaces. Bring a camp stove to heat your food. We are in a natural area so we ask that you keep your food in your car overnight to protect it from animals. We will have shaded storage available for your coolers during the day as cars are located in full sun, but it will be in a public area and you do so at your own risk. You will not have access a fridge or freezer so please plan accordingly. Heartwood will provide a location to wash your dishes and access to drinking water. There will be a small canteen selling snacks and drinks to supplement your meals and you can find it in the Tea Salon.
